With Spring doing it's darnest to make it's way here in the northeast we have for the last couple of weeks have had to deal with the dreaded "S" word. Michelle had this to share in an email blast yesterday
So I heard we might get the "S" word this week? The latest weather report said that we might get lucky and just get rain. I certainly hope so. I'm so ready for spring! If you were planning on visiting my shop during the next couple of days, please call me first or look on the store Facebook page or store website (on the Current Specials page) for any closing information.
Saturday, March 17th is not only St. Patrick's Day, it's Worldwide Quilting Day! That means I'm sure to have a sale! Check back next week for details!
Handi Quilter is jumping in on the Worldwide Quilting Day fun and offering 0% Financing and FREE SHIPPINGthrough March 13th! This is a great time to order a new longarm if you've been wanting to and you will save hundreds of dollars! There are also 2 NEW machines that just came out - the Amara and the Forte! These 2 beauties have all the bells and whistles - come in and talk to me about a new machine!
She is also trying a new innovation thing on her site:
I'm trying something new in March online. I've joined the FabShop Bunny Shop Hop! What is this you say? FabShop is my quilt store owner group association. They host a monthly online shop shop. Customers sign up to join here: https://www.fabshophop.com . You will then go to different store websites and look for the "You Found It" bunny logo hidden somewhere on their site. A logo and hint is supposed to be on the front page of every website to make the "You Found It" logo easy to find. Click on the "You Found It" logo and you can win prizes provided by FabShop! The more bunnies you find, the more chances you get to win! And, you also get to see the sales specials in dozens of shops! You will have a month to get around to all of the sites to find the "You Found It" Bunnies to qualify to win prizes. This shop hop lasts the entire month of March. Try it and see if you like it!
And if this isn't enough there's Free Motion Quilting With Linda Gosslin!!!
Saturday, May 12, 10:00am - 1:00pm. $80. Learn how to free motion quilt on your domestic! Open!
QUILTING WITH RULERS with Linda Gosselin!
Saturday, May 12, 2:00pm - 5:00pm. $80. Open! Learn how to quilt using a variety of rulers!
I've been waiting forever to take a class with Linda. She is fabulous and I am sure not to miss her this time around!!!
You also can see other classes Michell is offering on her site. So hop on over and check everything out, you won't be sorry.
Michelle is also asking for your help:
The Knotty Hookers of Middleboro knitting group need our help! Baby blankets are needed at the Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. This time they're accepting all kinds of blankets - crocheted, knit, fleece, or quilts. The blanket size can be the size of a fat quarter like last year, or if you have one that's bigger, that's OK too! If you would like to make or donate something you have to this cause, I will be collecting for at least the month of March! Thank you!
