Good Morning my sweet friends. Long time no chat with all of you. I have been absent for quite a long time and I apologize for being absent. I have been doing all kinds of traveling which is one thing I haven't been able to do for a very long time. I have the blessings from heaven given to me to have my photos done professionally by Bonnie McCaffrey from https://www.facebook.com/BonnieMcCafferyPhotography She is absolutely amazing. I have never had a more enjoyable experience in my entire life. She made me feel relaxed and not tense in anyway. Here is a some pic from that photo session.
Then I had the trip of a life time that I was able to go to AQS Week in Paducah, Kentucky. I know I will probably never be able to go again. However, I did go and went with one of my dearest friends ever. My friend Ellen and I decided to rent a car an drive across part of the country. I saw parts of this country I have never seen before. You can see a smile box video of my trip on my Facebook page http://play.smilebox.com/SpreadMoreHappy/4e4459334f446b324f54453d0d0a?title=My+Trip+to+Paducah&image=4e4459334f446b324f54453d0d0a.jpg
I hope you can enjoy this as much as I did. So after that was said and done, before I had gone to Kentucky I went to visit a shop owner in Amherst, NH.My friend Bette Belanger who is the owner of Quilting Away to A Peaceful Life. I have the pleasure of teaching my Color Me Quilts at her shop this Saturday May 18th from 10:30 to 5pm. Learn the technique of painting on a quilted block. The technique of painting or coloring with paint on Fabric has always fascinated me and I love teaching what I have learned. So if you are interested come on down and join me to have a little bit of fun. No supplies needed, I bring everything you need. Enjoy taking a class where you won't have to drag the large clunky machine. Bring your favorite drink and your sense of humor. Yes I said humor. All of my classes are filled with laughter as I love to teach but also love to make people laugh.
Life for me was kinda of crazy for the Month of April and for the month of May it has settled down. I am working on a new teaching schedule, while I try to seek groups or cultural centers to teach what I truly love. So if you want to meet me learn all the crafty and quilty things I know. Email me on my on my home page where you can contact me through email. I would love to hear from you...
Stay tuned for new and exciting things coming your way later this summer. Things may be a little quiet, but fear not I am still here and rearing to go... Until then have a fantastic day.
